Coconut and cream cheese what a great combination. this frosting is very good on spice cake or carrot cake for an added extra flavor.
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 cups flaked coconut
One (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
2 teaspoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in the coconut and cook, stirring constantly, until coconut is golden brown, about 8 minutes.

In a bowl cream the remaining butter and the cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy. Add the confectioners’ sugar, milk, and vanilla slowly, beating after each addition. Beat until smooth. Stir in the toasted coconut.

Home made frosting that is so easy to make. This is a great recipe for frosting that takes no time to make.

1/4 cup soft or melted margarine
Good dash salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons milk
2 cups powdered sugar
In a medium sized bowl, combine all of the ingredients, mix until all is smooth. Spread upon a 9 by 13-inch cake and serve. This is a very simple frosting. This recipe is easily doubled or tripled, and can also be tinted with food coloring for cool holiday effects.
