1-1/2 pounds ground sausage meat
6 thin slices of onion
2 cups cottage cheese
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 (7-1/2 oz.) can tomato sauce
sugar
Form the sausage in to 6 patties. Brown throughly on both sides. Put in casserole dish. Place a slice of onion on each sausage patty. Mix cottage cheese with oregano and place some on each patty. Top each one with tomato sauce. Sprinkle each one with a couple pinches of sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
